The Johnny Denovo Mysteries

Well, we’ve been gearing up for the first signing event for “Spam & Eggs: A Johnny Denovo Mystery.” In addition to boxes of books, we have bookmarks, thank you cards, and posters to bring to the store.

One thing I spent extra time on was selecting the pens I’ll be using. I wanted something a little thicker, but also something that uses standard ink. Luckily, the local office supply store had the perfect pen, a thick ballpoint, and it works great. The only issue is that it needs help often to get started, so I’ll have to take a pad of paper along for scribbling.

I’ll be giving a brief talk/reading at the beginning of the event, followed by the signings. We’ll also have some thematically appropriate treats for those who stop by.

It should be fun!
