The Johnny Denovo Mysteries

The second Johnny Denovo novel, “The Green Monster,” is working its way toward a Fall 2009 publication date. A free preview of the first chapter has been posted for readers who are interested to see how the next mystery-adventure starts.

The book picks up just days after the end of “Spam & Eggs.” As you’d expect, Johnny is back in full form, but trying to find a respite at a baseball game. It doesn’t last when he’s recognized and asked to help someone out of a twisted little blackmail scheme. What he doesn’t know is where this will lead him.

Tucker, Mona, and Wei are back, along with a robust cast of new characters. People who have read a full draft have said it’s better than the first book, so I’m excited to get it out in full form!
