Johnny Denovo will be happy to know that his public facade is being seen as a compelling guise even through the lens of fictionalized accounts. So far, reviewers have had the following praise:
Johnny Denovo . . . is a great and unique private eye.
Meet twenty-first century detective Johnny Denovo, high-tech intellect, brilliant neuro-scientist, and media star. Andrew Kent has created a character so memorable and distinct that he will surely dazzle on-screen someday as he dazzles in a book.
The main character in the book is private detective Johnny Denovo, a very enjoyable and fully believable character whose knack for his profession has brought him wealth and great fame. Denovo brings to the table qualities belonging to some of the greatest fictional detectives of all time and reminds me of what you would get if you were to cross Sherlock Holmes with Mike Hammer and Lieutenant Colombo.
I’m glad to have captured so well the essence of Johnny Denovo. Bringing it to the page isn’t easy, but it seems to have worked.
